From dog parks, to Theatre Way, to Courthouse Square, the City of Redwood City has successfully reimagined downtown public spaces. With the full support of the City Council, the design process is underway to create a one-of-a-kind linear park connecting downtown Redwood City to the bay. This is something the Foundation is very excited about. When this process began in 2018, the Foundation joined the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department in setting up a Pop Up Park to help residents visualize the new park sites in downtown.
