Volunteers aren't paid because their contribution is worthless,

but because it is PRICELESS!
Volunteers don't necessarily have the time; they have the heart.

The Foundation is only able to do what it does because of volunteers.
We value their contribution! Please take a look at the various volunteer opportunities.
We hope you will find one that you enjoy.
There are a myriad of ways to support the chalk festival, from helping to set up the day before, sorting art supplies, staffing the artist check-in, supporting artists, etc. All of this takes place in the heart of downtown on and around Courthouse Square. There are many opportunities to serve with a friend, small group or team from work. Volunteer positions are available for ages 12+.
Volunteering at Family Campout comes with perks! Volunteers are provided with complimentary admission to the event. Volunteer opportunities range from organizing tasks before the event, to doing food prep and food service during the event. It's another great way to make new friends and participate in this fun camping event for free! Volunteer positions are available for ages 12+.
Oktoberfest takes place over five days under the big tent on Courthouse Square. Volunteers will have the opportunity to improve their arm and wrist strength as they fill beer steins with a variety of German beers. Volunteers will rotate "breaks" so that each has the opportunity to experience some German food, beverages and music. Many volunteers are needed, so it's a fun opportunity for groups.
Volunteer must be age 21+.
Salsa Festival volunteers will have a fast-paced, non-stop shift at either the tequila tasting booth, Paloma beverage booth, or one of the wine or beer vendor booths. Sign up to volunteer with a friend, and then make time to enjoy the festivities, the people-watching and maybe learn to salsa dance! Volunteer positions are available for ages 21+.
The Foundation organizes the Bucket Brigade, which is a cadre of volunteers who attend the popular Friday night concerts on Courthouse Square to collect donations from concert-goers so that this live music event will continue to be enjoyed by all. The Friday night concerts remain free to all because of the generosity of the community. There are many Friday night opportunities to serve!
If you enjoy visiting one of the City's parks on Saturday, eating food truck fare, and listening to live music, then you'll enjoy volunteering at Pub in the Park. Volunteers will spend a shift serving locally brewed beers in the Pub tent. Volunteer positions are available for ages 21+. Pub in the Park occurs once a month, June through September.
