It’s not easy to keep a secret in our day, but that’s a core theme of Picnic en Blanc which is the Foundation’s annual fundraiser that raises support to fund a community need. Each year the net proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships is contributed to the support of a different local program or project. The Foundation, with assistance from the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, transforms an outdoor space into the perfect location for lawn games, a picnic dinner and dance party. Guests return year-after-year and bring their friends.

Picnic en Blanc is scheduled for Saturday evening, August 16. We hope you'll purchase a ticket and join us! See you there! (Ticket sales CLOSE at midnight, Tuesday, August 12.)

Questions & Answers

The event provides the venue, sets up picnic tables, and includes a beverage station for the sale of beverages (beer, wine, waters), a dance floor, and musical entertainment. This year, Take2 will perform a 2 hour set of dance music.

Beverage Policy In accordance with insurance requirements and property owner regulations, guests may not bring their own alcoholic beverages, however, non-alcoholic beverages may be brought from home. Our fundraiser will include a cash bar. Each guest will receive one complimentary drink ticket valid for wine or beer.
