Join us for an unforgettable evening of jazz, swing, and sophisticated mid-century style with internationally renowned violinist and composer Mads Tolling and his ensemble, The Mads Men.
A two-time Grammy Award winner and the 2016 DownBeat Critics Poll Rising Star Violinist, Tolling is celebrated for his electrifying performances and genre-blending sound. A former nine-year member of both the Turtle Island Quartet and Stanley Clarke’s band, he has spent much of his career touring internationally and captivating audiences around the world. Tolling has been featured on NPR's Morning Edition, and his recordings have earned praise from major publications including DownBeat Magazine, Strings Magazine, The Washington Post, and The San Francisco Chronicle.
Throughout his career, Tolling has performed live with renowned artists such as Chick Corea, Ramsey Lewis, Kenny Barron, Leo Kottke, Sérgio & Odair Assad, and Paquito D’Rivera.
