Be A Volunteer Kindness Ambassador

A volunteer program for adults age 18 and up!

The Kindness Ambassador Program is managed as a collaboration between the City of Redwood City's Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department and the Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation. Kindness Ambassador's will supports the Magical Bridge Playground in Redwood City. During COVID-9, Kindness Ambassadors are needed to safely open the playground and assist visitors in complying with COVID-19 playground protocols.

 

KINDNESS AMBASSADOR ROLE

  • Make play accessible for everyone

  • Commit to building a more inclusive community

  • Assist the City of Redwood City in safely opening and managing the playground during COVID-19

KINDNESS AMBASSADOR VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT

  • Volunteer for a minimum commitment of 4 hours per month for 6 months

  • Complete an Interest Form, Orientation and Volunteer Agreement

  • Submit to DOJ Livescan fingerprinting
